How you fill out your broadcast window is so important, it can set the tone of your room and make it easier for your fans to know what to expect.
Start your show by hitting 'Broadcast' on the CAM4 header bar in your dashboard.
Regular Broadcast - This is the default broadcast type for CAM4.
External Encoder - If you have experience with external encoding software, you can use this tab to connect your external stream to CAM4.
Video / Audio Settings
Aspect Ratio - Choose between standard view or widescreen
Resolution - Allow CAM4 to choose or you decide to lower or increase the resolution of your stream. *NOTE- Higher isn't always better.
Camera - Select from all available camera sources.
Microphone - When selecting your microphone, it's a good idea to choose the same source as your camera.
Status - This is seen on the CAM4 homepage preview window of your show. Add #tags that describe your show to allow fans to find you easily. eg. #anal #office #squirt #orgy
Category - Indicates genders and number of people seen on cam. This can be re-set at the beginning of a new broadcast.
Mode - By default this is set to public. If you are an approved CAM4 performer (2257/ID approved) then you can choose to have a password protected room.
Indicates any stream issues so you can fix them before you start your broadcast. The light bulb shows troubleshooting suggestions.
FPS - Your cameras frames per second (FPS). 25-30 FPS is ideal.
Once your settings are correct you can go live and start your show!
